How to use: Grind in your dishes for an exquisite pop in flavor! Use as a spice rub, marinade, pickling, as finish over steak, pork, poultry, fish and more! Crack in smoothies and protein shakes, over eggs, salads, the possibilities are endless! You can even take them and lightly toast them for a bolder flavor!

How To Use: 
Manually Operated. Pick up grinder and flip it upside down so that the bottom of the glass base is facing up. Grab the glass base with one hand and with your other hand grab the silver grinder. Turn the bottom clockwise while holding the grinder over your food. Be careful not to get moisture (such as steam over hot food/cooking over the stove) in contact with the grinder while your spices are in it or it will cause it to cake up and jam.

Adjust Coarseness:
To adjust coarseness of your salt and pepper grinder, turn the small black knob/dial on the top of the grinder. Turn clockwise for a finer grind and counterclockwise for a course grind. 

Cleaning and Care Instructions:
Remove the lid, unscrew the adjustment knob/dial, remove the small clear nylon washer, remove the ceramic grinding mechanism, remove the spring and wipe with a dry cloth or clean with a dry brush. Do not wet the mechanism or it will take ~6 hours to dry before you can use it again. You may opt to use a damp cloth but you will have to wait until the parts and mechanism are 100% dry. A natural/mild soap such as a castile soap may be used, however it is not necessary and should be avoided. Dry parts overnight for a long lasting and smooth grinder operation. The grinder jar may be hand washed with a natural/mild soap OR (ONLY THE GLASS JAR) may be placed on the top rack of a dishwasher. Avoid using big box dishwasher detergent/pods - use a natural or clean dishwasher pod.

After cleaning (and the parts are 100% dry), put the grinder mechanism back in order. Put the spring, ceramic grinding mechanism, nylon washer, and adjustment knob back in place. Remember to fit the square piece of the ceramic grinding mechanism with the square piece of the metal screw. Also remember to put the small clear nylon washer in between the dial and the ceramic grinding mechanism.

DO NOT put the grinder or any of its pieces in the dishwasher!
DO NOT fill with spices while it is still wet!

Manufacturer recommendation: clean the grinder twice per year for lasting exquisite results!
